What is the Paleo Diet?
Centered on commonly available modern foods, the “contemporary” Paleolithic diet consists mainly of meat, fish, vegetables, fruit, roots, and nuts; and excludes grains, legumes, dairy products, refined sugar, and processed oils. The Paleo Diet promotes eating organic whenever possible along with grass-fed meats, and free range chicken and eggs. The idea being the less chemicals and processing involved before your food gets to you, the healthier it is.
