Cori Di Donato Cori Di Donato holds her B.S. in Corporate Communications from Ithaca College, her CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) from NSCA, is a Certified Personal Trainer through NSCA, the National Strength and Conditioning Association, as well as a certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach through USAW. In addition, Cori is a CrossFit Level I certified instructor and also holds a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University & The T. Colin Campbell Foundation. Cori ran collegiate Track and Field and is a licensed "G" and "F" U.S. Soccer Coach. She is also a GroupX certified instructor through 24 Hour Fitness and is a former gymnast. Cori also holds a NASM Certificate in Manual Neuromuscular Stretching Techniques. In addition to being our studio's owner, Cori leads the program design efforts for all of our CrossFit, Onboarding and Personal Training classes and sessions. ![]() | Heather Hamel Heather, who is a certified CrossFit Level 1 instructor, is currently studying for her B.A. in Business Management at Emmanuel College. In addition to coaching CrossFit here at Avalon, she is also Avalon’s Operations Manager. She started her CrossFit training at CrossFit Cadence in California. In addition to being an avid CrossFitter, Heather plays softball and rugby. She was a three sport varsity athlete in high school and continued her softball career through her collegiate years. She is also a big adrenaline junkie and likes to get out and travel. She has been to eight different countries and participated in everything from bungee jumping to white water rafting. |
John Turner 617-580-3120 johnturner@avalonpersonaltraining.com John Turner is a Maritime Safety and Security Deployable Team Leader as well as a Health and Well Being Officer for the U.S. Coast Guard. He is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy where he earned his B.S. in Marine and Environmental Science. He is an EMT, as well as a Certified First Aid/CPR/BLS Instructor through the American Heart Association. As the USCG Health and Well Being Officer, he is spearheading an initiative to implement CrossFit in every unit as has been done in the Marine Corps through Operation Phoenix. He has personally maintained the highest Coast Guard Fitness Qualification (Tier 1 Physical Fitness Test) and also led a Tier 1 Training Program that lead to a 300% increase in the total Tier 1 qualifiers. He is a level 1 Certified CrossFit Instructor and a certified USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach through USAW. While previously deployed, John led a specialized force responsible for 24 national security missions as well as a number of Presidential security details.

![]() | Dylan Mroszczyk-McDonald CrossFit Coach 617-580-3120 dylan@avalonpersonaltraining.com Dylan is a graduate of Skidmore College where he participated in Varsity Crew and Equestrian while earning a BA in History. Since 2007 he has worked with the National Park Service as a US Park Ranger responsible for law enforcement, firefighting and emergency services. He is a Nationally Registered EMT and a CrossFit Level 1 trainer as well as a US Olympic Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. He has recently begun implementing a CrossFit fitness program with the National Park Service with the goal of increasing the health, fitness and physical preparedness of commissioned Rangers. |

![]() | Fadoul Louis Fadoul Louis, who turned pro 2010 was the ranking New England Golden Gloves Champion in the light heavy-weight class as well as the winner of the Rocky Marciano Tournament and 2009 Regional Championship. Fadoul is still actively competing and prior to turning pro, was our lead boxing instructor and part of the founding team of instructors here at Avalon. When he is not competing and is in town, he teaches Boxing workshops and classes here at Avalon. He is certified through AAAI and the International Sports Medicine Association. ![]() | Becca Casey Becca Casey is a registered PranaVayu Yoga teacher certified at the 200 level since 2007. Becca is a graduate of Simmons College and attained her masters in Nursing at Yale University. She works full time as a Nurse Practioner in the Boston Area. She discovered Yoga after many years of competitive sports including soccer and track. After a long college soccer season her freshman year, Becca discovered her aches and pains melting away while partaking in her first yoga class. 11 years later, yoga has become a passion and love. Yoga uniquely strengthens and refines both the body and the mind. Yoga and CrossFit provide a natural fusion that compliment each other through improved coordination, flexiblity and balance as well as increasing strength and shortening recovery time. Becca studied PranaVayu Yoga with master teacher David Magone. PranaVayu Yoga, loosely translated as the 'Breath of Life', is a unique style of Yoga, which integrates flowing power Yoga sequences with relaxation and meditative techniques to help you change your body and free your mind. |
